Thoughts of Ashes of Creation?

With all the build up around Ashes of Creation, I thought it’d be interesting to hear what you guys think of it so far. I know it’s still in development, but from what we’ve seen in gameplay, it seems like they’re aiming for something ambitious given how complex some of these systems are. Do you think Ashes shows potential?, or does it look like it might struggle?


For those unfamiliar with Ashes of Creation:

The game "Looks" great. The only question of everybody is when will it be released? Only upon a game launch will a game ever show it's true potential.
Games in development sneak peeks will always have devs focused on the hyped content and not on the game as a whole.
Every game has potential, it's just comes down to how the game gets managed.
You can have all the best systems in the world, but if you don't know how to use them properly its not going to be worth anything.

I was hyped when I first saw a video of it, but that hype's waned over time. Until I actually get to play it I'm going to continue being skeptical. I genuinely hope it comes out and it's worth it, though.

I've heard a bit back in the day, but, now I just hope the game can deliver what it seems to have to offer. It has the potential to be a great game, I hope it can actually be, a great game in the end.
