We’re excited to announce some improvements to the site over the next few days aimed at enhancing your overall experience. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening:
Lodelight is evolving beyond just Flyff. While we recognize the Flyff scene is declining and has become somewhat toxic, we’re planning to introduce new sections dedicated to other MMOs, web development, and various other topics. We’ll also be adding a security section to keep everyone informed about the latest threats. Rest assured, Flyff isn’t going anywhere; we’re simply expanding our focus.
About four weeks ago, we faced a significant issue with our threads due to an addon installation that unfortunately corrupted some data. It took quite a while to resolve, but we’ve now set up a brand new board, imported all your content, and addressed premium features.

- The hide hack feature is permanently gone.
- Registration will reopen to the public, though previously banned accounts and server-based IP blocks will remain in place.
- We’ll be adding numerous new sections while condensing Flyff content without removing anything. Our aim is not to compete with others but to focus on what our community values.
- We’re overhauling the rules across all sections to make them clearer and more approachable.
- A new site achievement system is in place and will be finalized soon.
- Premium members can now bump their threads again, which has been a long-awaited feature.
- All our addons have been updated to the latest versions, including our current XenForo setup.
- We’re enhancing the help center with more informative posts, consolidating everything in one place.
- While we’ll temporarily keep the old theme, a new design is in the works.
